More delay for Leith Hill oil site as minister rules on security fencing
The Communities Secretary has ruled that plans for security fencing at Europa’s oil site near the Leith Hill beauty spot in Surrey need a detailed assessment of their impact on the environment.

Charges dropped against five Brockham oil protesters
More than half the people charged with offences at protests near Angus Energy’s Brockham oil site near Dorking in Surrey have had their cases dropped before they got to trial.

“Government approved fracking so it should pay for protest police” – Lancs PCC
Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire said this evening the government had given the go-ahead for fracking in the county and so it should pay to police the protests.
