County councillors considering Cuadrilla’s application to frack at Preston New Road in the Fylde have gone into private session.
The development control committee has already adjourned once this afternoon to decide on wording on a motion to refuse the application.
Council planners had recommended the application be approved. They said the reasons proposed by councillors for refusal were “not sustainable”.
The meeting voted to go into a private session to take advice from legal officers. This session is expected to last about half an hour.
