The Humberside and East Yorkshire Frack Off group has called for a suspension of Rathlin Energy’s activities in the region and an inquiry into the West Newton drill site. The call follows an investigation by DrillOrDrop.com into breaches of environmental permits at West Newton.
Cuadrilla confirmed in a statement this morning that the Environment Agency has granted a second set of permits for fracking in the Fylde area of Lancashire.
