100,000+ demand government publishes fracking climate advice
More than 100,000 people have signed a petition calling on ministers to publish advice on the impacts of fracking on UK climate targets.
Ministers required to seek advice on climate impacts of fracking under new government proposal
The latest amendments to the Infrastructure Bill include a new Government clause which would require ministers to ask for guidance on the climate impacts of onshore oil and gas. A group of Lib Dem MPs has submitted a similar amendment.
