The lives of many people in the village of Misson in north Nottinghamshire have been blighted by shale gas since 2014, the parish council has said.
Residents and conservationists are concerned that the breeding success of owls could be at risk from proposals to continue construction work at a shale gas site in north Nottinghamshire beyond the end of this month.
Nottinghamshire councillors meet in the morning to decide on the county’s first shale gas planning application.
