West Sussex County Council says it is continuing to monitor operations at Celtique Energie’s drilling site near Billingshurst after a report that a planning condition had been broken. The company denies there was a breach.
Celtique Energie has confirmed it will appeal against the decision by West Sussex County Council to refuse planning permission for an exploration well near the villages of Kirdford and Wisborough Green. The company said in a statement it believed the decision was “fundamentally unsound”.
