Cuadrilla confirmed this evening there was a 0.3ML earth tremor during fracking this afternoon at its Preston New Road shale gas site near Blackpool.
The British Geological Survey has reported a 0.5 magnitude earth tremor this afternoon near Cuadrilla’s fracking site on the edge of Blackpool. There was also a 0.4M tremor and two micro-seismic events.
Cuadrilla has confirmed there was a 0.4 magnitude earth tremor while it was fracking at its Preston New Road shale gas site this afternoon.
