A judge is expected to hear legal arguments this morning about the disclosure of information in the anti-fracking protest case involving the MP Caroline Lucas and four other campaigners.

The full case, which is due start on Monday (24th March), was brought under Section 14 of the Public Order Act. All the campaigners deny failing to comply with a condition imposed by police at the protest outside Cuadrilla’s exploratory drilling site at Balcombe on August 19th.

District Judge Peter Crabtree, sitting at Brighton Magistrates  Court, is expected to consider requests from the defence team for the disclosure of information held by the prosecution.
