Lancashire County Council planners have recommended approval of Cuadrilla’s applications to frack at Preston New Road in the Fylde but recommended permission should be refused for fracking at Roseacre Wood on traffic grounds.
Two other applications by Cuadrilla for monitoring works linked to the fracking applications have been recommended for approval.
The applications will be decided by councillors at meetings of the Development Control Committee from Tuesday 23rd June – Friday 26th June 2015. (see details below).
