Happy Christmas from DrillOrDrop.com

christmas

DrillOrDrop.com wishes you a very happy Christmas and New Year.

Thank you for supporting independent journalism during 2016.

Between now and the New Year, we’ll be looking back over the past 12 months, beginning with our review of 2016.

In 2017, we’ll continue to report on fracking, the onshore oil and gas industry and campaign activity in the UK.

Please keep in touch with news that you think we should be covering.

Not surprisingly, we enjoy hearing when you like what we do. But we also want to know when you think we get things wrong. You can always comment on DrillOrDrop posts or contact the writers directly.

  1. Happy Christmas to you Ruth, and many, many thanks for all your hard work, which is very much appreciated and exceptionally comprehensive & useful. Best wishes from Maggie and everyone at Longridge Against Fracking ❤ xx

  2. Happy Xmas Ruthie..will you lose INDEPENDENT tag in 2017 ? As we all know you are Anti Fracking xxxx Malc

    • Ruth is always scrupulously fair and independent. It’s not her fault if there’s nothing good to be said about fracking or the frackers.

    • Ruth and her team are independent, anti-frack journalists. This is clear for all to see, and there’s nothing wrong with it. The drillordrop tag line is not “objective coverage of the industry,” so there’s no reason why she would need to be balanced in her coverage.

I often request that Ruth/Paul give coverage to pro-fracking news, and they are usually loathe to do so, but I don’t really mind when they reject my requests. They have a message to distribute and they don’t really need to be bothered with stories from the pro-gas crowd. Understandable!

      Merry Xmas to all.

  3. Merry Xmas to you all too. A great year of reporting. Well done. Looking forward to next year which I expect will be another busy one!

  4. To all the team,

Seasons best wishes and let’s hope for a more sensible approach in 2017.

Thanks for your all your work & continued pressure in the right places.

    Kind Regards

  5. Well done Ruth and team.

Hard to know what the net effect of a site like this is but I think it’s a valuable alternative to less focused media sources . I’m convinced it helps raise awareness and keeping certain issues alive.

Look forward to more news and discussions in the new year.
    Happy Christmas!

  6. Thank you for all your hard work. It always amazes me how quick you research and cover each topic.

    Busy times ahead.

    Merry Christmas to all.

  7. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all! – anyone up for a game of football tomorrow? 😉

Thank you Ruth and Paul for your hard work and giving us all an opportunity to enter into lively debate…
