Lindsay Parkin, 56, was arrested after the protest on Saturday (10 October 2020), along with a fellow Extinction Rebellion activist and father, Alistair Sandell.

Mr Parkin pleaded not guilty this morning during the hearing with magistrates in Guildford. He was remanded on bail, with a condition not to visit the Horse Hill site.

He was released at 1pm from Salfords custody suite, near Reigate. He had been refused bail over the weekend and was in custody for 43 hours. His case will return to Guildford Magistrates Court on 20 October 2020.

Alistair Sandell, 52, a horticulturalist from Uckfield, was also charged with aggravated trespass. He was released early on Sunday morning. He has a court hearing before magistrates in Staines on 16 October 2020.

    • Breach of a High Court Injunction.

Do the crime do the time.

Let’s hope it will be longer when he is found guilty.

Hopefully Extinction Rebellion will get a large fine like Greenpeace as a deterrent for motivating & encouraging these criminals.

What would you say if I entered your property & did what I liked there for 12 hours.

I’m sure you & others would be discusted?

I am by these pretentious idiots!

  1. Dressed like a teenager, and acting like a teenager!!, 🙄🤷‍♂️ His family should be throughly embarrassed.

    • Err, maybe he was given the clothes at the police station. Obviously fashion tastes are the most important issue here!
