The venue and duration has been set for Egdon Resources’ appeal hearing against refusal of planning permission at its North Kelsey Moor site in Lincolnshire.

The company sought to extend the duration of the permission by 12 months. But the application was refused unanimously by county councillors in March 2022.
This was the third request by Egdon to extend the life of the site. Since planning permission was first granted in 2014, the only work carried out on the site has been at the entrance.
The duration of the appeal hearing has now been extended to two days: Wednesday 14 June 2023 and Thursday 15 June 2023.
The appeal will be heard at Nettleton Village Hall, Moortown Road, Nettleton, Market Rasen LN7 6AA.
The hearing is due to start at 10am on 14 June and 12.30pm on 15 June, following a site visit.
People can register to attend by contacting Lincolnshire County Council at Dev_planningsupport@lincolnshire.gov.uk
