UKOG interim accounts delayed

UK Oil & Gas has delayed publication of its interim accounts.

This follows a previous delay, announced in March 2025, of the annual report and accounts .

In an announcement this evening, the company said:

“due to delays in publishing its annual report and accounts for the year ended 30 September 2024, the Company’s interim results for the period ended 30 March 2025 have also been delayed.”

Shares were suspended on news that the annual accounts would not be published on time.

UKOG also said today:

“The audit of the Company’s 2024 Annual Financial Statements is now well advanced and the Company expects to publish the report before the end of July. The Company will then seek to publish interim results for the period ended 30 March 2025.”

UKOG is the parent company of the operator of the Horse Hill oil site, which was at the centre of a landmark Supreme Court judgement more than a year ago.

The site’s planning permission was quashed when the court ruled that it had been issued unlawfully. Surrey County Council failed to take into account greenhouse gas emissions from burning Horse Hill oil.

DrillOrDrop reported last week that there was still no date for final clearance of the site.
