12th August 2014 The latest government survey of public attitudes to fracking has shown a fall in support. The Public Attitudes Tracker, commissioned by Department of Energy and Climate Change and published today, reveals under a quarter of respondents supported shale gas extraction.
11th August 2014 Campaigners calling for a ban on fracking in West Sussex have two weeks left to collect more than 800 signatures to secure a county council debate on the issue.
11th August 2014 An opinion survey for the UK Onshore Operators’ Group out today found 57% of respondents thought fracking for shale gas should go ahead, while only 16% were opposed. 27% said ‘Don’t know’.
