UK onshore oil and gas production in figures and charts – March 2025
Daily onshore gas production was down 10% in March 2025, compared with February – the lowest level since July last year. Daily oil production was down 3% on the month.

The volume of UK onshore oil produced in December 2024 was up 5% , compared with the month before, almost topping the record for the year.
Onshore oil production in the UK fell again in 2023, to the lowest level for more than 30 years.
UK onshore oil and gas production fell for the second consecutive month in September 2023, with more drops in extraction from leading fields at Wytch Farm, Wressle and Saltfleetby.
