IGas proposals to explore for shale gas at Misson in Bassetlaw won’t be decided until the end of July, Nottinghamshire County Council said today.
A public consultation is underway into IGas’s application for an environmental permit to drill for shale gas at a site at Misson in north Nottinghamshire. But a decision on the planning application for the scheme to drill two exploratory wells at land off Springs Road faces a delay.
A new public consultation on Third Energy’s plans to frack at a site in North Yorkshire is now underway. And another may be needed before the application is decided because the company has still not provided all the information requested by North Yorkshire County Council.
