IGas has confirmed that it has lodged an appeal against the refusal of its plans to test a well in Ellesmere Port.
The exploration company, IGas, has been accused of wasting public money by appealing against the refusal of planning permission to test its well at Ellesmere Port.
IGas declared a profit of £15.5m in 2017, after two previous years of loss.
IGas has confirmed the first shale gas well it plans to drill in north Nottingham will be at the Springs Road site at Misson. Drilling was expected to start in mid 2018.
