Balcombe villagers protest against oil tests
About 50 people from the West Sussex village of Balcombe joined a protest this morning against imminent tests at a nearby oil site.
IGas responds to community anger over protest injunction
The shale gas company, IGas, has been criticised for treating communities with “disrespect and contempt” after serving a High Court injunction on two residents’ groups.

Updated 17 September 2018 with more information on the injunction. Balcombe Parish Council reports this morning that Angus Energy has been granted a High Court injunction against protests at the oil site in the village.
