An application for a licence to explore for shale gas in south west County Fermanagh has prompted questions and opposition among anti-fracking campaigners and local people.
Greater Manchester announced a policy this morning which would have the effect of blocking fracking across one of the UK’s major shale gas regions.
Councillors in Gloucestershire have supported a motion repeating their opposition to fracking in the county. They also condemned individual payments to people in fracking areas and calling for a review of Government policy on the issue.
