Monthly UK onshore oil production fell in September 2024 on all measures to the lowest level in the previous year, according to official data.
UK onshore oil and gas production in figures and charts – August 2024
UK onshore gas volumes and daily production rose in August 2024, with volume reaching the highest level for four months. This was mainly because of increased production at the leading onshore gas field at Saltfleetby.

UK onshore gas volumes fell 14% in July 2024, compared with June 2024, to the lowest point for eight months. The onshore contribution to total UK gas production fell back to below 1%.
