The oil and gas company, Europa, recorded a pre-tax loss of £1.9m for the year to 31 July.
All the comments from members of the public in a consultation on oil production in north Lincolnshire oppose the plans, analysis by DrillOrDrop has revealed.
Consultations are underway into plans by Egdon Resources to produce oil, and possibly gas, from its Wressle well near Scunthorpe.
Egdon Resources has announced plans for seven new oil and gas wells over the next year. Four of the wells are in Lincolnshire and have planning permission. Another, near Dorking in Surrey, also has approval after the company’s partner, Europa, won a planning appeal.
