The shale gas company preparing to frack in North Yorkshire breached one of its environmental permits by failing to publish correct emissions data, it has emerged.
The shale gas company, Cuadrilla, has published environmental monitoring data from its Preston New Road site near Blackpool.
Lancashire Police has said its operations at Cuadrilla’s fracking site near Blackpool will cost an extra £450,000 a month.
The number of onshore oil and gas wells drilled in the UK in 2016 was the lowest for nearly 50 years, according to data from the Oil and Gas Authority.
