The shale gas company, IGas, announced this morning it had begun drilling its well at Tinker Lane near Blyth in north Nottinghamshire.
Drilling the first shale gas well in Nottinghamshire has been delayed until at least the autumn, IGas told investors today.
IGas declared a profit of £15.5m in 2017, after two previous years of loss.
