Categories: Diary, Uncategorized
This is not a drilling diary, its a protestor’s diary, with fools such as Gayzer Frackman, conspiracy theorist Ian R Crane, and the totally ill informed Tim Thornton given publicity. Precious few real information
Ruth, it seems you have given up all pretence of this being an ‘independent’ reporting of drilling.
But her reporting reflects what’s happening. There is no drilling and so it is only protests that are in the diary.
3rd May – “Publication of the government’s Public Attitudes Tracking Survey, Wave 17”
18th-19th May – “Shale World UK conference” organised by UKOOG
These do not appear to be protest organisations Ken. It simply looks like there’s a lot of work being done by concerned communities, so there’s a lot of that in the diary.
I note many of your posts contain personal attacks on individuals. Perhaps you need to take some time out to consider your behaviour.
Mr Ken Wilkinson – you owe Ruth Hayhurst a public apology. There are a number of events listed that are nothing to do with protests and opposition to fracking – I have cut and pasted a few below, because you must be blind by your bias to have missed them!
I have also cut and pasted her request below which appears at the end of the article – here you can see Ruth clearly asks people to contact her if they would like an event posting.
Please let us know here if you’d like us to add your events.
I am sure Ruth does not trawl through every local paper or website to compile a list of local events – people contact her!
Not only that but you have also thrown in the usual and unnecessary offensive comments.
I have read many of your comments and it strikes me you are so blinded by your own bias that you are intolerant of anyone who prints anything that doesn’t fit with your own one sided opinion. A true bigot.
Ruth does an excellent job and in the opinion of many and has done more to report fracking than any other journalist that I am aware of – the fact is there are two sides!
