Virtually zero wind produced 1% of our electricity needs and solar produced just over 1% of our electricity needs on the big day. Solar dropping to zero at 15:54….

It really is hard to imagine UK fracking being economically viable if we are going to see gas prices down below 25p a therm again. Wouldn’t you agree?
this is money has a go at explaining why energy bills have gone up ( the price cap is primarily to blame it seems ), though looking back over 30 years is a different story.
The title of the compare the market story is click bait ( as noted in comments to the times and other papers who ran the story without checking the data it seems ).
