Eight anti-fracking campaigners have been found guilty of a range of offences following protests outside the Horse Hill oil exploration site near Gatwick Airport. Another campaigner was cleared of obstruction.

Prominent anti-fracking campaigner, Tina Rothery, refused this morning to pay legal fees amounting to more than £55,000 in a dispute with the shale gas company, Cuadrilla.
Slow walking protest tolerated by police at Horse Hill, commander tells trial
The trial of nine anti-fracking campaigners arrested at protests at the Horse Hill oil well near Gatwick heard that police tolerated some walking in front of lorries to slow down deliveries to the site.
