The Bolton company, Armstrong Aggregates has announced it will stop supplying Cuadrilla’s fracking site at Preston New Road near Blackpool. But Cuadrilla said the contract had already been fulfilled.
Lancashire County Council has confirmed that some lorries visiting Cuadrilla’s fracking site near Blackpool have not followed the agreed route, in breach of planning conditions. But the council said it won’t be taking action against them.

The shale gas company, Cuadrilla, has been accused of an “aggressive and sustained” pursuit of court costs of more than £55,000 against the leading anti-fracking campaigner, Tina Rothery. Lawyers for Cuadrilla have accused Ms Rothery of “persisting in inaccurately portraying” the legal process.
An anti-fracking campaigner has been served with court papers during a tea party protest opposite Buckingham Palace.
