An anti-drilling protester locked himself on to a tanker visiting the Horse Hill exploratory oil site near Gatwick this morning.
In the past few minutes, IGas has confirmed it will not be drilling for coal bed methane at Upton near Chester, where a protest camp was evicted last month.
Anti-fracking protesters have been ordered to leave their camp on land at near Chester that is earmarked as an IGas coal bed methane site.
The government has instructed local councils and the police to do more to stop protest camps, including those against oil and gas operations.
