Campaigners in the Fylde area of Lancashire are asking people across the UK to help it fight Cuadrilla’s fracking appeals. They say the result of the appeals will set a precedent for fracking applications across the country.
The government wants to allow oil and gas companies to drill seismic monitoring boreholes without applying for planning permission.
The first appeal by Cuadrilla against refusal of planning permission for shale gas exploration in the Fylde area of Lancashire is now underway.
