UK onshore gas volumes fell 14% in July 2024, compared with June 2024, to the lowest point for eight months. The onshore contribution to total UK gas production fell back to below 1%.
Daily oil production also fell. The monthly oil volume was up slightly compared with the previous month but less than would have been expected by the extra day in July.
Flaring at onshore oil sites rose for the third consecutive month. Almost two-thirds of the flared volume of gas was from Singleton, in West Sussex.
