UK onshore daily oil production was down 6% in March 2024, compared with the previous month. This reflects production falls at Wytch Farm, the country’s biggest onshore producer.
Onshore gas volumes were up slightly on February but not as much as would be expected given the longer month in March.
Vented gas from UK onshore oil sites rose more than 50% in March, compared with February 2024.

The data shows there was no production at 12 UK onshore oil fields in March 2024. This was one fewer than in February 2024. Crosby Warren had a small volume of production during the month.

There was no production reported at 11 UK onshore producing gas fields in March 2024. This was the same number and fields as in February 2024.
