Another eviction began early this morning to remove anti-drilling campaigners who occupied the Horse Hill oil site near Gatwick Airport. The final campaigners were removed at 5.45pm.
Opponents of oil exploration at Horse Hill near Gatwick Airport have now occupied the drill site for more than 36 hours.

Opponents of Third Energy’s plans to frack a well in North Yorkshire blocked the road either side of the site entrance early this morning with wooden platforms.
As Third Energy prepares to frack the first UK onshore well since 2011, nine environmental organisations have told the government they have “growing concerns” about the process.
