MPs are being urged to demand the full release of a redacted government report on the impact of fracking on the rural economy.
A government report quoted by ministers as reassurance that fracking is safe has been criticised as inadequate and its conclusions unsubstantiated and misleading.
Bristol University has published a report on the seismic effects of Cuadrilla’s drilling at Balcombe during the summer. The report found many sources of seismic noise. One of the biggest was the London to Brighton railway line, which runs alongside the site.
