The inquiry into Cuadrilla’s fracking plans for Lancashire goes into the final full week tomorrow (Tuesday 8th March) with evidence from opponents of the Preston New Road site.
It will hear evidence on the effects of noise from Mike Stigwood, of MAS Environmental, and planning and landscape issues from town planning consultant, Steven Scott-Brown, both representing Preston New Road Action Group
There are two sessions for members of the public to make statements to the inquiry about Preston New Road and Roseacre Wood. The inquiry will also hear evidence from Newton-with-Clifton Parish Council and discuss any conditions on the developments, should they be approved.
The week finishes with closing statements from Newton-with-Clifton Parish Council, Preston New Road Action Group, Roseacere Awareness Group, Friends of the Earth and North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.
The closing submissions from Lancashire County Council and Cuadrilla will be on Wednesday 16th March.
