DrillOrDrop needs your help to find the best images of 2017 that tell the story of fracking and onshore oil and gas.
There have been many memorable images this year. We particularly liked:
- The line of cows walking in the field in front of the rig at Preston New Road
- The face-to-face confrontation between a police officer and a campaigner
- A small child above a sea of high-vis jackets
- A cheerful campaigner at Kirby Misperton in some of the first snows
And there are many more.
We’ll be posting some of our favourites over the 12 days of Christmas as we look back at the events of 2017. And we’d like to include yours too.
Have your taken photos of sites, campaigners, industry figures, protests, or key events that you’d like to share with DrillOrDrop readers? Have you spotted a great image that you think we should include in the best of 2017?
Please get in touch by 20 December 2017 by email at commentsdrillordrop@gmail.com with your pictures or suggestions. Please let us know where and when the photo was taken and how we should credit the photographer.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed photographs during 2017.

Brilliant, Drill or Drop! Thank you so much. And has anybody made a Fracking Calendar/????????
Great work Ruth and Paul…. I especially liked a couple of the deliberately stagey images like the ‘Where’s Walley?’ lock-on and the dramatic image of defiance from Sept 28:

A calendar titled “Greeny Gangstas” ?
I realise this isn’t about fracking but all protests & knowledge needs to be circulated so I’m posting this link for your interest.
