UK onshore gas volumes and daily production rose in August 2024, with volume reaching the highest level for four months. This was mainly because of increased production at the leading onshore gas field at Saltfleetby.
Daily onshore oil production fell in August 2024, with lower volumes at three leading fields, Wytch Farm, Wressle and Singleton. But onshore oil’s contribution to the UK total was the highest for a year.
The volume of venting at onshore oil fields fell for the third consecutive month.
