The reasons for Lancashire County Council’s refusal of permission for Cuadrilla’s shale gas monitoring plans at Grange Road, Singleton have still not been confirmed.
In a statement issued this afternoon, Cuadrilla responded to the refusal by Lancashire County Council of its plans for Grange Hill site at Singleton.
Councillors on Lancashire County Council’s development control committee refused permission today for shale gas testing at Cuadrilla’s site at Singleton in the Fylde.
Bristol University has published a report on the seismic effects of Cuadrilla’s drilling at Balcombe during the summer. The report found many sources of seismic noise. One of the biggest was the London to Brighton railway line, which runs alongside the site.
