Hull City Council came a step closer to adopting a policy against fracking this morning.
Third Energy application to frack at Kirby Misperton Councillors in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire agreed last night to delay making a recommendation on Third Energy’s plans to frack for shale gas at Kirby Misperton.
Ryedale District Council in North Yorkshire is being recommending to object to Third Energy’s planning application to frack an existing gas well at Kirby Misperton.
The North Yorkshire council which includes the village where Third Energy has applied to frack voted this evening for a five-year moratorium on the technique.
