No reason to refuse Roseacre appeal on traffic, says Cuadrilla Cuadrilla told the public inquiry into its fracking plans in Lancashire that lorries traveling to the Roseacre Wood site would not make the roads unsafe.
The inquiry into Cuadrilla’s fracking plans for Lancashire goes into week 2 tomorrow morning (Tuesday 15th February), starting with more evidence from the company’s witnesses on the impacts on landscape and traffic.
As expected, Cuadrilla is to appeal against the refusal of its two applications to frack in the Fylde area of Lancashire. Campaigners said the appeals disregarded local democracy and would put further pressure on residents.
Residents opposed to Cuadrilla’s application to frack at Preston New Road in Lancashire have complained that the county council’s planning officer had undermined the scale of objections.
