Of course two places where drilling for gas is taking place are Qatar & the USA. Some of that gas is being frozen and shipped long distances to the U.K. in the form of LNG. Yesterday during our current cold snap about 12% of our gas was being supplied in this imported form. Now wouldn’t it be greener and cheaper to produce some of our own onshore gas to avoid these unnecessary imports.
